Remind App Logo.jpeg

Communication Tool

Lahainaluna Early College Utilizes the Remind App

Lahainaluna Early College uses the Remind App to communicate with students and parents via text message.

The Remind App does not reveal cell phone numbers from both the sender and receiver of these messages. When you sign up for the Remind App you add your first and last name and that is the only information shared on caller ID.

Parents, students and advisors can dictate times they want to start and stop receiving text messages. Parents and students are also able to opt-out at any time.

A link to the Early College Remind App is located in the Early College Google Classroom. Please email Miss Kristy Arakawa if access is needed.

Google Voice Image3_edited.png

Google Voice

Texting App for Parents and Students

Googe Voice is used to text parents and students because it is a more familiar technology. Parents and students do not need to download an app, this app connects to their phone number and uses their cell phone's normal text message program. This is a great way to communicate outside of the normal school hours. Parents and students can use this app to contact Miss Kristy Arakawa or Mrs. Ginny Yasutake when questions come up at home, after school or on the weekends. Although an immediate response is not guaranteed, the message will be recorded and answered in a timely manner.
